ಗುರುವೇ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ, ಗುರುವೇ ವಿಷ್ಣು ಮತ್ತು ಗುರುವೇ ಶಂಕರ. ಗುರುವೇ ನಿಜವಾದ ಪರಮ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ. ಅಂತಹ ಗುರುವಿಗೆ ನಾನು ನಮಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಗುರು ಪೂರ್ಣಿಮೆಯಂದು ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಗುರುಗಳಿಗೆ ನಮನ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಹಿಂದೂ ಪಂಚಾಂಗದ ಆಷಾಢ ಮಾಸದ ಹುಣ್ಣಿಮೆಯಂದು ಗುರು ಪೂರ್ಣಿಮೆಯ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸೋಣ.
ಈ ಹಬ್ಬದಂದು ಗುರುವಿನ ಮೇಲಿನ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ಗುರು ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ಯಥಾವತ್ತಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ಈ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ವ್ಯಾಸ ಪೂರ್ಣಿಮಾ ಎಂದೂ ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಈ ದಿನದಂದು ನಾಲ್ಕು ವೇದಗಳ ಕರ್ತೃ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಾಭಾರತದಂತಹ ಮಹಾಕಾವ್ಯಗಳ ಲೇಖಕ ವೇದವ್ಯಾಸರು ಜನಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಹಬ್ಬವು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಗುರುವಿಗೆ ನಮನ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಮಹತ್ತರವಾದ ಹಬ್ಬವಾಗಿದೆ.
